Hey there, I’m Sarah Green.
Most days you can find me snuggling with my puppies + kittens (they’re grown adult animals, just indulge me), my husband, and a big ol’ pot of coffee and a pint of vegan ice cream.
I help animal rights activists and environmentally friendly people sustain a vegan lifestyle by providing them with tasty & satisfying animal-free recipes. Vegans don’t just eat rabbit food (although some do, and I’m not sure HOW). On the contrary, we eat cheeseburgers, pizza, ice cream, and anything else you can dream up. Veganism is also about so much more than the food, but here on this blog, we just focus on all of the food options you have. If you want to know more about the other aspects of veganism, check this page out.
My husband, Houston, and our four animal companions Dave, Izzy, Cash, and Austin, live in Oklahoma City, OK. Houston and I both work at Life.Church. I am a full time architect and interior designer at the central headquarters, and he’s a guitarist at the Stillwater, OK, campus. He’s also teaching himself programming & coding right now.
I’ve been plant-based since 2014, but recently transitioned into a full-on vegan lifestyle. I’ve always been an animal lover and I have tons of fun in the kitchen. I legit get excited to go to the grocery store, and cooking is like a form of meditation for me. For a while, I just shared photos of vegan meals I made on my Instagram, and my friends always asked me for the recipe. Finally, I realized I should just create a web space where I can experiment, taste test, and share all of my favorite foods & drinks.
I’m thrilled that you’ve made it to the end of this “about me” page, and if you’re not yet bored to death by me, I hope you’ll stick around and browse my recipes and experience all that a vegan lifestyle has to offer you!
